Certified Training and Professional Development for Inclusive Education
The Learning and Development Professionals Association (LDPA) offers a comprehensive suite of certified training programs and professional development certificates tailored to meet the needs of modern educators. Our specialized courses include Shadow Teaching, Inclusive Education, and Teacher Specialization in Learning Disabilities (LD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). One of our flagship initiatives is the “Training the Trainers” program, which empowers schools to invest in a single educator who can acquire advanced expertise and then return to train the entire faculty. This innovative approach ensures that schools can build internal capacity, fostering a culture of continuous professional growth and inclusive education practices. By equipping educators with the skills and knowledge they need, LDPA helps create supportive, effective learning environments for all students.
برامج التدريب المعتمدة
Professional Circles (P Circles) initiative
Professional Circles (P Circles) are free workshops organized by the Learning Difficulties Professional Association (LDPA). Hosted by various schools, these workshops are designed to provide accessible learning opportunities for educators and the wider community. Typically, five workshops are held each academic year, covering a wide range of topics related to education, psychology, and professional development. P Circles aim to foster community engagement, promote continuous learning, and create a platform for knowledge sharing among educators, professionals, and the public. By hosting these workshops in schools, LDPA ensures they are convenient and accessible to a broad audience, further strengthening the connection between the association, educational institutions, and the community.
- Joining the P Circle Initiative: To participate in the P Circle initiative, schools are required to nominate an educator to act as a facilitator between the school and the Learning Difficulties Professional Association (LDPA). This representative plays a key role in ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Role of LDPA Facilitators: LDPA Facilitators serve as a vital link between the association and their respective schools. From the school’s perspective, these facilitators provide direct access to LDPA’s resources, training programs, and professional development opportunities. They disseminate information about LDPA’s workshops, services, and initiatives, ensuring the school community remains informed and engaged with valuable learning opportunities.
Benefits for Schools: Having an LDPA Facilitators enhances the school’s professional development ecosystem in several ways:
- Recognition and Leadership: Schools with active LDPA Facilitators gain recognition for their commitment to professional development and community engagement, while facilitators develop leadership skills and contribute to their school’s growth.
- Access to Free Workshops: Facilitators organize and promote free P Circle workshops hosted at their school, offering staff and students accessible learning opportunities, complete with certificates of attendance.
- Enhanced Professional Growth: Schools can leverage LDPA’s specialized training in education and psychology to support their staff’s continuous development.
- Strengthened Community Ties: Facilitators foster collaboration between the school and LDPA, creating networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities with other educators and professionals.
Parents Awareness Circles
The Parents Awareness Initiative is a transformative program designed to foster a deeper understanding and support system for students with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) within schools. This initiative aims to empower parents by providing them with essential knowledge about LD/ADHD, helping them recognize their children’s unique strengths and challenges. Through workshops, resources, and expert guidance, parents will learn effective strategies to teach and support their children at home. Additionally, the program emphasizes the importance of building strong, collaborative relationships between parents and teachers, ensuring a unified approach to each student’s educational and emotional development. By bridging the gap between home and school, this initiative creates a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
